Garrigue - About us

The ideas and values of the first Czechoslovak president Tomas Garrigue Masaryk were the motivation for founding our non-profit making organisation Garrigue.

Nowadays traditional values are slowly disappearing, the rhythm of consumer lifestyle is getting faster and causes a lot of stressful situations and further problems. All of this is an inspiration for our activities, which should bring back the joy from every fulfilled and nicely spent day to people.

Non-profit making organization Garrigue tries to increase the level and importance of lifelong learning and to enhance the prestige of teachers and people engaged in education - not only in the Czech Republic but also in other European countries. We want to support the idea of lifelong learning, constant improvement of personal skills, healthy lifestyle and motivation of adults to receive new information from various fields of science and technology, to their participation on workshops, seminars or other events that could enrich lives in different directions.

The goal of n.o. Gariggue is to support the development of personality in different directions throughout our active life.
